At the movies with Mike Lowrey

Its that time again for me to list a few upcoming movies on my to see list.
To heck with all the introductions lets get to the movies shall we.

Here’s my Rating System:
** = Two Big Daddy Stars (maybe a hit, not too sure)
**** = Four Big Daddy Starts (a must see on my list)
*** =Not bad enough for 2, not good enough for 4
***** = U Betta See This…Its Gonna Be Hot!

December movies to look out for:

• The Day the Earth Stood Still (**)
  with Keanu Reeves, Kathy Bates & lil Wil & Jada’s boy Jaden
• Seven Pounds (****) with Will Smith & Rosario Dawson
• The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (**)
  with Brad Pitt - seems like a date flick

2009 movies to look out for:

• Under the Sea with Denzel Washington (***)
• The Soloist
  with Jamie Foxx & Robert Downey (*** seems promising)
• Transformers #2 (** first one sucked but this could be better)
• Spider Man #4 (***)
  Will Spidey cry through this entire movie like in #3?
• X-Men Origins: Wolverine (***) Hugh Jackman
• Star Trek (*****)
• Angels & Demons (****) Tom Hanks
  for those who want more from the DaVinci Code
• Terminator :Salvation
• 2012 (*****)
• Iron Man #2 (*****)
• Harry Potter (*****)

Movies that shouldn’t have been made are but are coming out in 2009:

• Punisher #3
• Revolutionary Road
  reunites the cast from Titanic: DiCaprio,  Winslet & Bates
• Notorious - based on the life of rapper Biggie Smalls
• Transporter #3
• Friday the 13th part 2009
• Janky Promoters with Ice cube & Mike Epps
• Night at The Museum #2
• Fast & Furious #4 with Vin Diesel  (it was either that or unemployment)
• Alvin &the Chipmunks #2
• Shrek 4

Why…Why…Why…Movie for 2009 is G.I. Joe, yes the 80’s cartoon.
